Requirements:
- Experience in accounts payable or a related finance support function.
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ability to analyze data, draw logical conclusions, and resolve complex discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.
- An Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is often preferred but not always required.
- Process and code vendor invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers in compliance with payment terms.
- Reconcile accounts, verify transactions, and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address AP inquiries and issues.
- Maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and improve AP processes and efficiency.
- Proficiency with 10-key data entry.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Keen attention to detail.
