Client Success Stories
- Testing Center of Excellence Support
- Managed Service/Infrastructure Center - Engagement Description
- Transformational Excellence – Fortune 100 Telecom Provider
Client was a public IT Consultancy supporting a large financial services organization in multiple states. The Program needed to deliver all testing services across the Consumer and Risk Lines of Business. A centralized testing organization was deployed and provided the following shared services across the 100+ application teams: System Integration Testing, Automation Testing, UAT Testing, Data Management Services, Environment Management Services, Performance Testing & Engineering, etc. The Program teams consisted of over a thousand global consultants, including ~200 onshore Brixton consultants.
Business Challenge
- Client set specific service level agreements (SLAs) around time to staff. Client expected SLAs be adhered to during ramp-up of the TCoE for 1,000+ FTEs.
- Consultancy had limitations meeting the required time to staff SLA if only leveraging internal consultants, such as overall immediate resource availability, internal cost challenges, amount of visa enabled candidates, specific technology skilled resources (i.e., DataStage).
- Consulting company had internal financial targets, and the lack of available onshore/visa enabled outsourcing consultants prevented those targets from being achieved.

Brixton commenced with this Managed Service/Infrastructure Center in 2011. The Program delivers Infrastructure Outsourcing support to multiple US commercial and public sector Client engagements across all industry domains and infrastructure domains/technologies (ERP, Storage, Sys Admin, Cloud, MiddleWare, etc.). The Center employs a local workforce at competitive, low-cost price points leveraging shared & managed services support models. Brixton’s relationship with the Center began in January 2011 and continue to this day.
Business Challenge
- Rapid and frequent fluctuations in Client(s) resource demand (plus internal recruiting fees) requires flexibility in resource utilization.
- Support for numerous technology engagements requires corresponding Client contract liability “flow-downs” (MSAs).
- Coordination between interim bill rates and Center conversion salaries requires careful calibration.
- Achieving internal deal economics for each Client engagement adds pressure on the Center.
- Service to public sector Clients restricts the workforce to US Citizens further limiting supply of available resources.
How Brixton Helped
- 40-50 unique role requests actioned & delivered each year.
- Collaborated virtually with several Center delivery leads to understand technical, functional, and soft skills.
- Provided access to hard-to-find skills sets.
- Calibrated Brixton service delivery to the Center’s fluid resource demands (peaks & troughs).
- Delivered creative Right-to-Hire staffing approach to “Sell the Center” during up-front contract recruiting phase, avoiding internal & external recruiting fees (upon conversion).
- 20-30 full-time offers.
- Enabled Center to “Try Before You Buy” mitigating performance risks.
