Requirements:
  • Experience in accounts payable or a related finance support function.
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw logical conclusions, and resolve complex discrepancies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.
  • An Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is often preferred but not always required.
Responsibilities:
  • Process and code vendor invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers in compliance with payment terms.
  • Reconcile accounts, verify transactions, and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address AP inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and improve AP processes and efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency with 10-key data entry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail.
