Responsibilities:
Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather initial requirements and understand the key data attributes and business rules.
Ability to extract data from source system or use the extracted data and build business rules based to assess the quality of the data.
Validate data quality rules and initial data profiling results.
Capture additional data quality rules as needed, and maintain a master list.
Assist in the development of building a tactical data cleansing improvement plan to address the identified issues.
Responsible for the development of automated data quality reports to continuously monitor data quality levels and cleansing progress
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience with Python, Python environments, and package management.
Background using Python for Data Cleansing and Data Quality.
Experience with Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Proven experience in writing scripts to ingest data from APIs or CSV files and preparing data for staging in remote data storage.
Basic SQL knowledge, able to read and understand SQL handed off.
