TN Hospital System seeks a hands-on PeopleSoft Systems Manager to oversee all direction, design, implementation, and ongoing integrations and administration of PeopleSoft system. Ideal candidate will have functional PeopleSoft Analyst and project management experience.

  • Individual must have the ability to plan, organize, lead, implement and evaluate all processes and resources associated with PeopleSoft system to ensure the utmost level of system performance
  • Develop long and short-term plans for PeopleSoft system development in support of healthcare system strategies.
  • Coordinate all upgrades and system rollouts which include PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll, Financials and Supply Chain, Kronos Workforce Timekeeper and Scheduler, non-clinical documentation management and other financial systems; managing Onbase ticketing system
  • Evaluating opportunities for optimization, while directing the development of ERP standards and software selection
  • Planning and designing system enhancements and IT technical services for hardware infrastructural needs based on system requirements; updating guidelines and procedures as required
  • Ensuring projects are managed and completed in a timely manner and within budget, while coordinating projects, priority and performance reporting related to PeopleSoft
  • Mentoring and managing ERP applications staff on hospital systems management methodology while also performing quarterly and annual performance reviews; setting individual and team goals on annual review ensuring these are hit and there is progression on quarterly meetings  
  • identifying and coordinating necessary end-user training
  • Coordinate vendor activities and contract negotiations, and assisting with the operational and capital budgets while managing expenses budget,  
  • Liaising between departments, vendors, technical support personnel and leadership, with an ability to explain technical information to various audiences speaking both to the technical and in laymen’s terms
  • Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in IT and the managements of large-scale ERP systems
  • 5+ years management within a Hospital setting and ERP experience with ideally 3+ years PeopleSoft
  • Prior and extensive experience in Project Management, ERP business processes along with ERP Financials, Supply Chain and HCM systems is a must
  • Ideal candidate will be action-focused, goal oriented and self-disciplined with an ability to see the fine details and how these pertain to the entire strategy
  • Strong system knowledge, people and project management are also required with a strong ability to lead interdisciplinary teams in implementations and system upgrades throughout
